Description

The Town of Gypsum is seeking proposals to provide professional engineering services to consider and reassess the feasibility of conceptual I-70 Eagle Airport Interchange located between the towns of Gypsum and Eagle, Colorado. The proposed interchange, as originally studied and designed, provides for direct access to the Eagle County Regional Airport and supports regional capacity solutions to support mobility along the Highway 6 corridor, as well as other significant regional corridors.

The intent of this effort is a feasibility study that can serve to restart the planning and preliminary design process for the I-70 Eagle Airport Interchange and set the project up to be able to move directly into a National Environmental Protection Act (NEPA) study.

Additional Bidding Instructions

Submit one electronic version of the proposal and quote in PDF format via email. Alternatively, proposals may be submitted via PDF on flash drive by mail or delivery to the physical location no later than the closing date listed above.

Proposals shall be on 8 ½ x 11 paper and are limited to 10 pages maximum including cover letter. 11x17 pages may be included but shall count as 2 pages. Double sided pages will be considered 2 pages. Resumes are not included in the overall page count.

Proposals shall include the quoted price as well as information regarding the company including past projects completed in the Town of Gypsum or surrounding communities, and experience with projects of a similar scope to this project.The quoted price shall include all work to complete the feasibility study including the public involvement process.
