Description

The Town of Gypsum (Town) is launching a planning and design effort to convert US 6, between the existing I-70 Interchange and Valley Road (Segment 1), from a single lane to a two lane roadway. It is anticipated that the project will be issued in a series of contracts for the specific defined scope items as the project evolves.

At this time, the Town is seeking proposals for overall corridor concept development and preliminary design focusing primarily on the Union Pacific Railroad underpass, the Railroad Avenue intersection, Gypsum Creek Bridge and pedestrian movement throughout the corridor.

Additional Bidding Instructions

Submit one electronic version of the proposal and quote in PDF format via email. Alternatively, proposals may be submitted via PDF on flash drive by mail or delivery to the physical location no later than the closing date listed above.

Proposals shall be on 8 ½ x 11 paper and are limited to 10 pages maximum including cover letter. 11x17 pages may be included but shall count as 2 pages. Double sided pages will be considered 2 pages. Resumes are not included in the overall page count.

Proposals shall include the quoted price as well as information regarding the company including past projects completed in the Town of Gypsum or surrounding communities, and experience with projects of a similar scope to this project.

Additional items may be included as optional scope in the quote beyond the price listed above, that may benefit the project.
