The Town of Snowmass Village Housing Department requests proposals for roofing replacement/maintenance and insulation upgrades at Mountain View II Employee Housing. Mountain View II consists of three buildings that are fully occupied year-round. The complex includes three two-storyy buildings at 1400, 1500, and 1600 Deerfield Drive, constructed in 1998/1999. Each building has approximately 5,500 sf of livable space, each with a unique layout.
The roofing is generally performing weel; however, the roofing materials and accessories are approaching their life expectance and require replacement. Some existing gutters are damaged, leaking and/or not properly pitched. Some sheathing is soft and may be rotting. Some eave and ridge venting may be clocked and/or not adequately sized. Batt insulation in trussed roof may be inadequate for current code. There is a mix of 110v and 220v heat tape.
