IFB-LI-WCSD6 11.784.0020 - PCB Ballast Removal

Summary of Specifications:
Please provide a price to do a full inventory of PCB containing ballasts at the following locations. The full inventory should include a count of the number of PCB ballasts, their locations, and if they are leaking. In addition please provide a price per fixture to remove and properly dispose of any leaking PCB ballast and associated lights. The removal and disposal of the ballast and lighting shall be done in accordance with all local, state, and federal laws. The inventory will begin the week of April 4th, 2011 and removal will begin the week of May 23rd, 2011. The winning contractor will need to coordinate with the district on the removal of lights so the district can coordinate the replacement of those ballasts and fixates as needed. Given the nature of some ceiling materials that the ballasts are attached to the removal company will be required to be a certified asbestos abatement contractor with the State of Colorado.
