Summary of Specifications:
The Bay County Board of County Commissioners is seeking Qualifications from firms to provide Construction Management Services, for the Bay County Courthouse Addition Project located in Panama City, FL. The COUNTY has obtained the services of the Architect to design a courthouse addition that will be located east of and attached to the existing Bay County Courthouse via an enclosed and environmentally controlled walkway. The addition will include at a minimum one story of parking and two stories of courtrooms, judges suites, public assembly areas, and public restrooms. The finished space will consist of 40,000 square feet (sq. ft.) (Approximately 20,000 sq. ft. /floor) and a walkway that connects to the 2nd floor of the existing courthouse building. The design also includes all site work to include utility services, drainage, storm water treatment, access roads, waterfront walkway/park and additional surface parking. The total construction budget is estimated to be $12.5 million dollars. The proposed schedule is to have the Design of the Courthouse Addition Project completed by August 2013 and substantial completion of the project by March 2015.
