Summary of Specifications:
SEALED BIDS for the Bay County Emergency Operations Center (EOC) Logistics Warehouse will be received by the BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF BAY COUNTY, FLORIDA at the Purchasing Department, 840 West 11th Street, Suite 2500, Panama City, Florida 32401 up until 1:30 PM (CDT) on July 10, 2012. Bids will be publicly opened at 2:00 PM (CDT) on July 10, 2012.
Bids shall be submitted in a sealed envelope, plainly marked with Bidders name, address, date and time of bid opening, and bid number 12-29 EOC Logistics Warehouse.
Please submit an original and two (2) copies of your bid package.
DESCRIPTION OF WORK: It is the intention of this Bid to find a Contractor that is capable of constructing a 10,944 square foot metal building with three interior rooms at the Bay County Yard on Fire Tower Road, Bay County, Florida. Work includes site preparation, slab and footers, building erection, finishes, electrical, plumbing, photovoltaic, telephone/data service, HVAC, and all other work associated with complete construction. The contractor shall have a minimum of five (5) years experience in construction of commercial metal buildings.
