Summary of Specifications:
SEALED BIDS for FY12 Annual Resurfacing Phase 2 – Local Roads will be received by the BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF BAY COUNTY, FLORIDA at the Purchasing Department, 840 West 11th Street, Suite 2500, Panama City, Florida 32401 up until 1:30 PM (CDT) on July 2, 2012. Bids will be publicly opened at 2:30 PM (CDT) on July 2, 2012. Bids shall be submitted in a sealed envelope, plainly marked with Bidders name, address, date and time of bid opening, and bid number 12-28 for FY12 Annual Resurfacing Phase 2 – Local Roads. No bid will be opened unless accompanied by proof of Florida Department of Transportation qualifications in the following work categories: 1) Flexible Paving, and 2) Hot Plant-Mixed, Bituminous Structural, and Surface Courses. Please submit an original and one (1) copy of your bid package. DESCRIPTION OF WORK: Work includes, but is not limited to, resurfacing of various local roads, totaling approximately 2.78 miles. A MANDATORY Pre-Bid meeting will be held at 2:00 PM (CST) on June 12, 2012, in the Purchasing Department conference room at 840 W. 11th Street, Panama City, Florida 32401.
