Summary of Specifications:
SEALED BIDS for FY 12 Dirt Collector Road Paving – Court Marshall Ranch Road will be received by the BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF BAY COUNTY, FLORIDA at the Purchasing Department, 840 West 11th Street, Suite 2500, Panama City, Florida 32401 up until 1:30 PM (CDT) on February 10, 2012. Bids will be publicly opened at 2:00 PM (CDT) on February 10, 2012. Bids shall be submitted in a sealed envelope, plainly marked with Bidders name, address, date and time of bid opening, and bid number 12-08 for FY12 Dirt Collector Road Paving – Court Marshall Ranch Road. No bid will be opened unless accompanied by proof of Florida Department of Transportation prequalification (current FDOT certificate of Qualification) in the following work categories: 1) Flexible Paving, 2) Hot Plant-Mixed, Bituminous Structural and Surface Courses, 3) Grading, and 4) Drainage. FDOT Certification of Qualification form must be attached to the outside of the sealed envelope containing the bid proposal. Please submit an original and one (1) copy of your bid package.
DESCRIPTION OF WORK: The project consists of paving of existing dirt collector road with 4,900 lf of regular SP 12.5 pavement and installation of regular swales. The County will provide a geotechnical report for informational purposes only. It is incumbent upon the Contractor to verify actual condition between test locations prior to developing their bid.
