SEALED BIDS for Land Application of Sludge – Military Point Lagoon will be received by the BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF BAY COUNTY, FLORIDA at the Purchasing Department, 840 West 11th Street, Suite 2500, Panama City, Florida 32401 up until 1:30 PM (CDT) on October 25, 2011. Bids will be publicly opened at 2:00 PM (CDT) on October 25, 2011. 

Bids shall be submitted in a sealed envelope, plainly marked with Bidders name, address, date and time of bid opening, and bid number 11-43 for Land Application of Sludge – Military Point Lagoon. 

Please submit an original and one (1) copy of your bid package. 

DESCRIPTION OF WORK: The work includes land application of approximately 2,200 dry tons of dewatered sludge of approximately 8% to 12% dry matter (DM). The average solids content from 2010 was 10% DM. Typically, the sludge is delivered to the land application site in tanker trucks.
