Summary of Specifications:
SEALED BIDS for M. B. Miller Parking Lot will be received by the BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF BAY COUNTY, FLORIDA at the Purchasing Department, 840 West 11th Street, Suite 2500, Panama City, Florida 32401 up until 1:30 PM (CDT) on September 22, 2011. Bids will be publicly opened at 2:00 PM (CDT) on September 22, 2011.
Bids shall be submitted in a sealed envelope, plainly marked with Bidders name, address, date and time of bid opening, and bid number 11-44 for M. B. Miller Parking Lot. No bid will be opened unless accompanied by proof of Florida Department of Transportation prequalification (current FDOT certificate of Qualification) in the following work categories: 1) Flexible Paving, 2) Hot Plant-Mixed, Bituminous Structural and Surface Courses, 3) Grading 4) Drainage, and Specialty Classes of Work: Grassing, Seeding and Sodding, Pavement Markings, and Roadway Signing. 5) Light and electrical installation to be done by Florida licensed electrical contractor.
FDOT Certification of Qualification form for general contractor and subcontractors must be attached to the outside of the sealed envelope containing the bid proposal.
