Summary of Specifications:
SEALED BIDS for North Bay Wastewater Treatment Plant Fill Material Hauling will be received by the BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF BAY COUNTY, FLORIDA at the Purchasing Department, 840 West 11th Street, Suite 2500, Panama City, Florida 32401 up until 1:30 PM (CDT) on February 29, 2012. Bids will be publicly opened at 2:00 PM (CDT) on February 29, 2012.
Bids shall be submitted in a sealed envelope, plainly marked with Bidders name, address, date and time of bid opening, and bid number 12-16 for North Bay Wastewater Treatment Plant Fill Material Hauling.
Please submit an original and one (1) copy of your bid package.
DESCRIPTION OF WORK: BCUS has a need to move fill material from the County Pit on Highway 231, across from Camp Flowers Rd, to NB WWTP on Edwards Road (see Exhibit 1). The estimated distance is sixteen (16) miles one way. BCUS will fill the trucks and have a staging area at the NB WWTP to dump the material. Approximately 50,000 cubic yards of material are to be moved. The company must be capable of providing a minimum of six (6) trucks with each truck making six (6) trips per day hauling a minimum of fifteen (15) cubic yards and a maximum of twenty (20) cubic yards truck capacity, and more may be possible. Trucks must run Monday through Friday, 7:30 am to 5:00 pm.
