Summary of Specifications:
INTRODUCTION The Bay County Board of County Commissioners (County) seeks bids from qualified contractors for the Continuing Supply of Portable Toilets Rental in support of operations of the County. The County reserves the right to negotiate with the successful vendor for any related items, products, or associated work/services not specifically listed in the bid solicitation documents. Some rental units at times may be placed in remote, unattended, and unsecured areas. Therefore, the County does not assume any liability or responsibility for any portable units provided as a result of this solicitation.
SPECIFICATIONS Bidders shall provide prices for stationary type portable toilet support for monthly, daily and special events usage. There are also requirements for pricing of ADA approved units, hand washing stations, extra services and emergency services. All units shall be equipped minimally with two rolls of toilet paper (mounted), waterless hand sanitizer, and must be lockable from the inside.
Bidder shall have a maximum of 24 hours to respond to a reported tip over, or other rental malfunctions, except special events where requirements shall be outlined at the time of coordination. Vendor shall remove special events equipment within 24 hours following the end of the event. Portable units shall not be stored on County property awaiting next rental.
