4 Cycle Diesel Generator SPECIFICATIONS
1. GENERAL
Furnish a quantity of THREE (3) Model 30REOZJB (OR EQUAL), Kohler diesel generators, in accordance with the specifications noted herein. Each generator will consist of a trailer mount generator and engine with weather housing with roof-mounted critical silencer and other features as noted. Each generator will also have a one- year unlimited warranty that covers all systems and components and shall also have a five-year extended limited warranty.
2. ENGINE
2.1 The engine shall be wired for 120/208 volt, 3-phase, 60 cycle service
2.2 The engine shall have a sound enclosure with enclosed critical silencer; to include a weather enclosure with enclosed critical silencer
2.3 The engine will have an oil and radiator drain extension
2.4 The engine (3029TF270) or equal will be certified by the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) to conform to Tier 2 non-road emissions regulations
2.5 The engine type shall be 4-cycle, turbocharged
2.6 The cylinder head material shall be cast iron. The cylinder arrangement shall be 3 inline
2.7 The crankshaft shall be made of forged steel
2.8 The intake valve material shall be chromium-silicon steel and the exhaust valve material will be stainless steel
3. CONTROLLER
3.1 Decision-Maker™ 1 Controller shall have the following: Single-light annunciation and basic controls with NFPA capability Relay logic, AC meters, and engine gauge features 12-volt engine electrical system capability only Remote or automatic start options Voltage adjusting pot and running time hour meter Cyclic cranking with crank limiter Five light panel annunciation with latched shutdowns for low oil pressure, high coolant temperature and over crank, over speed and RPM sensor loss Auto/off/manual switch with red LED for “Not in Auto”
4. ALTERNATOR
4.1 The type shall be a 4-Pole, Rotating-Field.
4.2 The alternator shall have brushless excitation.
4.3 There shall be (12) reconnectable leads.
4.4 The voltage regulator will be solid state, Volts/Hz.
4.5 The insulation shall be NEMA MG1, Class H, with a temperature rise of 130°C, Standby.
5. FUEL
5.1 The fuel tank shall be a 100 gallon tank with a fuel level indicating gauge that is UL approved.
5.2 It shall have a fuel filter and water separator.
5.3 It shall contain a fuel shut-off solenoid valve
6. ELECTRICAL SYSTEM
6.1 It shall have a battery with battery tray.
6.2 Shall contain an equalize/float type battery charger.
6.3 Shall be equipped with battery cables
7. MISCELLANEOUS ACCESSORIES
7.1 The trailer shall have a 2-inch ball hitch.
7.2 The trailer shall have a front jack stand with wheel.
7.3 The trailer shall have an electric brake controller
7.4 The trailer shall be capable of 3500 pounds.
7.5 There shall be vibration isolators between engine/alternator and base frame.
7.6 The block heater shall be removed.
7.7 Standard set of 3 manuals shall be included.
