Summary of Specifications:
SEALED BIDS for the Steelfield Road Landfill Paving Project will be received by the BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF BAY COUNTY, FLORIDA at the Purchasing Department, 840 West 11th Street, Suite 2500, Panama City, Florida 32401 up until 1:30 PM (CDT) on March 19, 2012. Bids will be publicly opened at 2:00 PM (CDT) on March 19, 2012. Bids shall be submitted in a sealed envelope, plainly marked with Bidders name, address, date and time of bid opening, and bid number 12-12 for Steelfield Road Landfill Road Paving Project. No bid will be opened unless accompanied by proof of Florida Department of Transportation prequalification (current FDOT certificate of Qualification) in the following work categories: 1) Flexible Paving and 2) Hot Plant-Mixed, Bituminous Structural and Surface Courses. FDOT Certification of Qualification form must be attached to the outside of the sealed envelope containing the bid proposal. Please submit an original and one (1) copy of your bid package. DESCRIPTION OF WORK: The project consists of paving approximately 1,600 ft. of existing clay base and lime rock cap roads at the Steelfield Road Landfill.
