Quantities
Anticipated annual quantity is approximately 50 shipments, via Hopper truck, with approximately 50,000 pounds per shipment. Quantities may be increased or decreased depending on actual need during the contract term; however, no price adjustments will be allowed as a result of a reduction in the quantity purchased. No minimum or maximum annual quantity is guaranteed.
Quality Specifications
• In compliance with AWWA B 202.02 (latest edition), AWWA Standard for Hydrated Lime.
• The Hydrated Lime should contain a minimum available calcium oxide content of 68%.
• During the contract period, the supplier must furnish results of analysis of the calcium oxide (CaO) content from at least one shipment of Hydrated Lime delivered to the County per month, the sampling and analyses to be conducted using techniques specified in AWWA B202 Section 5.1, 5.2 and 5.3.
Delivery
• Delivered to Bay County Water Treatment Plant, 3400 Transmitter Road, Panama City, FL 32404, located just south of the intersection of U.S. Hwy 231 and Transmitter Road.
• Must be delivered to and received at the County’s Water Treatment Plant within five (5) days after the date the County purchase order is provided to the supplier. Trucks shall only be unloaded between the hours of 6:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.
• In quantities of approximately 25 tons per truck. The supplier must furnish equipment and labor for pneumatic transfer of the Hydrated Lime from transport truck to the owner's elevated storage silo.
• Supplier must furnish weight ticket for each load upon delivery.
