Summary of Specifications:
Bay County Board of County Commissioners is seeking qualified professional firms to provide for the transportation of human remains for the Medical Examiner’s Office. Timeliness and proper handling of deceased remains are essential to the case work performed by law enforcement agencies and the Medical Examiner’s Office. The purpose of this proposal shall be to obtain the services of qualified firms to provide timely removal and transport of remains of deceased persons, whole or in part, from the place where the remains are located to the Medical Examiner’s facility located at 3737 Frankford Avenue, Panama City, Florida, as required by the District 14 Medical Examiner’s Office, for the purpose of post mortem examination to determine the actual cause and manner of the death. This proposal is for pick-up within Bay County only.
