Summary of Specifications:
INTENT - It is the intent of this solicitation to secure a contractor to perform pedestrian improvements on SR 30 / U.S. Highway 98 / Miracle Strip Parkway SE in Downtown Fort Walton Beach, Florida.
All work must be completed in accordance with the approved construction drawings and associated FDOT permits. In addition, all work and materials must be in accordance with the 2013 FDOT Standard Specifications for Road and Bridge Construction, and 2013 FDOT Design Standards. The extent of work is shown on the attached construction drawings.
5.1 GENERAL REQUIREMENTS All work shall be completed by the successful bidder and include all necessary materials, labor, and equipment needed to complete the project. The selected contractor shall complete all the work in conformance with the approved construction drawings, FDOT specifications, and FDOT permits and associated conditions.
In addition, all work and materials must be in accordance with the 2014 FDOT Standard Specifications for Road and Bridge Construction, 2014 FDOT Design Standards, and the latest edition of the Manual of Uniform Traffic Control Devices.
