PUBLIC NOTICE/ADVERTISEMENT REQUEST FOR QUALIFICATIONS (RFQ) NO. 30-04/05 ARCHITECTURAL, ENGINEERING, URBAN DESIGN, AND LANDSCAPE ARCHITECTURE SERVICES FOR THE PLANNING, DESIGN, BID AND AWARD, AND CONSTRUCTION ADMINISTRATION SERVICES FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF THE PROPOSED 400 SPACE CULTURAL CAMPUS PARKING GARAGE Scope of Services: This Request for Qualifications (RFQ) seeks to obtain qualifications from professional firms with the capability and experience to provide professional architectural, engineering, urban design, and landscape architecture services for the planning, design, bid and award, and construction administration for the construction of a new parking garage to include the two following options: • Parking Garage occupying the 2 surface lots divided by Liberty Avenue and connected at a higher elevation, creating a bridge above Liberty Avenue. • Parking Garage occupying the 2 surface lots and a portion of Liberty Avenue creating a drop off area on the ground floor with a main entrance on 23rd Street Sealed qualifications will be received until 3:00 PM on August 12, 2005, at the following address: City of Miami Beach City Hall Procurement Division -- Third Floor 1700 Convention Center Drive Miami Beach, Florida 33139 Any response received after 3:00 PM on August 12, 2005 will be returned to the consultant unopened. The responsibility for submitting qualifications before the stated time and date is solely the responsibility of the consultant. The City will not be responsible for delays caused by mail, courier service, including U.S. Mail, or any other occurrence. A Pre-RFQ Submission Meeting is scheduled for July 26, 2005 at 10:00 a.m. at the following address: City of Miami Beach City Hall 1700 Convention Center Drive Fourth Floor City Manager’s Large Conference Room 1700 Convention Center Drive, Miami Beach, Florida. The City of Miami Beach has contracted with BidNet and utilizes BidNet’s central bid notification system created exclusively for state and local agencies located in South Florida. This South Florida Purchasing system allows for vendors to register online and receive notification of new bids, amendments and awards.
