REQUEST FOR LETTERS OF INTEREST For Disposing of Police Confiscated Property
The City of Miami Beach seeks to obtain an internet based solution for all police confiscated items with the exception of vehicles. The City of Miami Beach Police Department has property rooms containing numerous stolen or confiscated goods. It is the City’s intent to reduce storage and handing costs while increasing net revenues. Companies interested in proposing an internet based solution to the City of Miami Beach, should send a letter of interest that includes information on the following services and the proposed revenue sharing with the City: transportation, sorting, evaluation, cleaning, testing, researching, documenting with photograph and description listings, storage, online auction, customer service, pick/pack and ship, collection proceedings, and remitting checks and reports to the City.
