FOR BENEFIT CONSULTANT SERVICES TO PROVIDE ASSISTANCE IN DETERMINING THE CITY’S EMPLOYEE BENEFITS PROGRAM. Request for Proposals (RFP) No. 49-09/10 Scope of Services The City of Miami Beach, Florida (hereinafter referred to as "the City") has a need to establish a contract with a Benefit Consulting Services Firm to assist the City in determining its Employee Benefits Program, including its self-funded medical and dental plans. The awarded contract will be for a term of two (2) years with three (3) one (1) year renewal options at the City's discretion. Sealed Proposals will be received until 3:00 PM on August 13, 2010 at the following address: City of Miami Beach, City Hall; Procurement Division - Third Floor; 1700 Convention Center Drive; Miami Beach, Florida 33139 ANY PROPOSAL RECEIVED AFTER 3:00 PM ON AUGUST 13, 2010 WILL BE RETURNED TO THE PROPOSER UNOPENED. THE RESPONSIBILITY FOR SUBMITTING PROPOSALS BEFORE THE STATED TIME AND DATE IS SOLELY THE RESPONSIBILTY OF THE PROPOSER. The City will not be responsible for delays caused by mail, courier service, including U.S. Mail, or any other occurrence.
