FOR THE OPERATION OF SNACK VENDING MACHINE CONCESSIONS AT VARIOUS CITY-OWNED PROPERTIES AND FACILITIES
Request for Proposals (RFP) No. 44-10/11
The City of Miami Beach is soliciting proposals from qualified firms to identify potential partners with the intent of awarding an exclusive snack vending machine concession agreement for the location of snack vending machines on City of Miami Beach property. Said concession agreement shall provide for the installation and maintenance of snack vending machine equipment at the sole cost of the successful proposer/Concessionaire.
The term of contract will be for five (5) years with the sole option and discretion of the City to renew for five (5) additional one (1) year periods.
Sealed proposals will be received until 3:00 PM on September 7, 2011 at the following address:

ANY PROPOSAL RECEIVED AFTER 3:00 PM ON SEPTEMBER 7, 2011, WILL BE RETURNED TO THE PROPOSER UNOPENED. THE RESPONSIBILITY FOR SUBMITTING PROPOSALS BEFORE THE STATED TIME AND DATE IS SOLELY THE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE PROPOSER. THE CITY WILL NOT BE RESPONSIBLE FOR DELAYS CAUSED BY MAIL, COURIER SERVICE, INCLUDING U.S. MAIL, OR ANY OTHER OCCURRENCE.
A Pre-Proposal Submission Meeting is scheduled for August 17, 2011 at 10:00 A.M. at the following address: City of Miami Beach City Hall – Fourth Floor 1700 Convention Center Drive City Manager’s Large Conference Room Miami Beach, Florida 33139
The City of Miami Beach is using BidSync, a central bid notification system that provides bid notification services to interested vendors. BidSync allows vendors to register online and receive notification of bids, amendments and awards. Vendors with Internet access should review the registration options at the following website: www.bidsync.com

The City of Miami Beach also utilizes BidNet for automatic notification of bid opportunities and document fulfillment. This system allows vendors to register online and receive notification of new bids, amendments and awards.
