Summary of Specifications:
The purpose of this bid is to establish a contract whereby the contractor shall provide all plant, labor, parts, materials, transportation and equipment necessary to repair and maintain the designated Air Conditioning equipment at the City of Miami Beach Scott Rakow Youth Center, and such additions, modifications or deletions as may occur during the life of the contract. The contract shall remain in effect from date of award through December 31, 2005, with options for three (3) additional one year periods.
Minimum Requirements: Prospective Bidder must have a minimum of 5 years experience in the business of maintenance of reciprocating air conditioning. In addition, prospective bidders must provide at least six (6) separate references in Dade or Broward Counties for maintenance agreements for air conditioning equipment, including contact names, titles and phone numbers for verification of references.
Bid Guaranty: A Bid Guaranty is not required, however the successful Bidder executing the Contract will be required to provide a Performance Bond in the amount of one-hundred percent (100%) of the annual value of the contract, and evidence of required insurance within fifteen (15) calendar days after notification of award of the Contract.
A Pre-Bid Conference and site visit will be held at 10:00 a.m. on September 2, 2004 at the City of Miami Beach Scott Rakow Youth Center located at 2700 Sheridan Avenue, Miami Beach. Attendance at the Pre-bid Conference is highly encouraged and recommended as a source of information but is not mandatory.
