Sealed bids will be received by the City of Miami Beach Procurement Director, 3rd Floor, 1700 Convention Center Drive, Miami Beach, Florida 33139, until 3:00 p.m. on August 16, 2007 for:
PRINTING OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH MAGAZINES At time, date, and place above, bids will be publicly opened. Any bids or proposals received after time and date specified will be returned to the bidder unopened. The responsibility for submitting a bid/proposal before the stated time and date is solely and strictly the responsibility of the bidder/proposer. The City is not responsible for delays caused by mail, courier service, including U.S. Mail, or any other occurrence. Facsimile, electronic, or e-mailed bids will not be accepted.
Purpose: The purpose of this bid is to establish a contract, by means of sealed bids, with a qualified vendor for the printing of the City of Miami Beach brochures. This contract shall remain in effect for (1) year from time of award by the Mayor and City Commission, and may be renewed by mutual agreement for three (3) additional years, on a year to year basis. A pre-bid conference will be held on July 25, 2007 at 10:00 a.m. at the City of Miami Beach City Hall, 4th Floor, City Manager’s Small Conference Room, located at 1700 Convention Center Drive, Miami Beach Florida 33139. Attendance at the prebid Conference is highly encouraged and recommended as a source of information but is not mandatory. The City of Miami Beach is using RFP Depot, a central bid notification system which provides bid notification services to interested vendors. RFP Depot allows for vendors to register online and receive notification of bids, amendments and awards. The Bid title/number shall be referenced on all correspondence. All questions must be received no later than ten (10) calendar days prior to the scheduled Bid opening date. All responses to questions/clarifications will be sent to all prospective bidders in the form of an addendum.
The City of Miami Beach reserves the right to accept any proposal or bid deemed to be in the best interest of the City of Miami Beach, or waive any informality in any proposal or bid. The City of Miami Beach may reject any and all proposals or bids.
