Summary of Specifications:
PURPOSE: The purpose of this bid is to establish a contract, by means of sealed bids, with a qualified vendor(s), to provide preventive maintenance and repair services for emergency generators, as specified herein. TERM: The contract(s) entered into with the successful bidder(s) will have an initiated term of two (2) years, and may be renewed at the sole discretion of the City, through its City Manager, for three (3) additional one (1) year terms. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: In order for bids to be considered, bidders must submit with their bid, evidence that they are qualified to satisfactorily perform the specified work. Evidence shall include all information necessary to certify that the bidder: maintains a permanent place of business; has technical knowledge and practical experience in the type of equipment included in this scope of work; has available the organization and qualified manpower to do the work; has adequate financial status to meet the financial obligations incident to the work; has not had just or proper claims pending against him or his work; and has tested and serviced similar type, size and complexity of such maintenance of emergency generators.
