RFP-15-05-06 - REMOVAL AND DISPOSAL OF DERELICT VESSELS

Summary of Specifications:
In the event of an emergency, such as a hurricane, the City would lack sufficient resources to undertake recovery operations such as the removal and disposal of derelict vessels. The purpose of this RFP is to retain a sea-towing disposal contractor that will assist the City in the removal and disposal of derelict vessels from public waters. The scope of services for the above subject RFP includes: 1. Dive, patch and re-float with a pollution stand-by crew which will include a salvage master, divers, patching materials, pumps, compressors and other specialized equipment necessary to recover the sunken vessels, 2. Tow re-floated vessels to a county landfill area for disposal. 3. Documentation of all work performed.
