Summary of Specifications:
Plans, specifications, and contract documents (Project Manual) are open to public inspection and may be purchased for $50.00 (non-refundable) from the Office of the City Engineer, 222 West Main St., 5th Floor, Pensacola, Florida. Registered plan holders who attend the pre-bid conference will be notified of bid or project addenda. Plans and specifications may also be viewed at the Pensacola Public Library, 200 West Gregory Street. Bidders shall submit a certified check or bid bond, payable to the City of Pensacola in the amount of five (5) percent of base bid for a period of sixty (60) days. This project consists of reducing the number of travel lanes from four to two lanes from Clubbs Street to Baylen Street (See plans for complete list of quantities). This project will also include other work associated with the roadway project such as sidewalks, pavers, curb and gutter, milling and resurfacing, drainage, utility adjustment, landscaping, signalization, irrigation, pavement striping, signage, and maintenance of traffic. The contractor will be allowed to close lanes, shift traffic, and detour traffic during certain phases of the project.
