Summary of Specifications:
In addition to conceptual floor and site plans, this solicitation is for the schematic and design development drawings/specifications as well as construction documents and contract administration. Therefore, it is the intent of this RFQ to have the successful applicant prepare full scope schematic and design development drawings, which would include at a minimum the following requirements: 1. To engage architectural/engineering firms and consultants to assist in the development of schematic and design development plans for the following disciplines: * Architectural/Structural * HVAC * Plumbing * Interior Decoration * Lighting * Electrical * Civil * Fire Protection * Furnishings and equipment * Data and telecommunications * Vehicular traffic at project location * Traffic Signalization * Site Selection * FAA Exterior Lighting Requirements * ECUA sewer system * Location on site 2. To develop probable cost estimates to ensure the design remains within the city’s budget. 3. To develop color renderings of the agreed upon plan. 4. To work with fire department staff to develop a design that will incorporate requirements of the city and FAA requirements as applicable.
