Summary of Specifications:
The City of Pensacola will receive sealed bids from qualified firms to furnish the services identified in the specifications document. 



Scope of Work: Add two sets of overhead bridge cranes. Low bay cranes to cover approx. 330 LF; will require fabrication/erection of structural steel crane runway system. High bay cranes to cover approx. 110 LF of northern end of center bay & extend outside warehouse approx. 50 ft. Portion of existing roof to be removed/new pre-engineered metal bldg to be installed in area of high bay cranes. New metal bldg framing at high bay area to be covered with metal roofing/siding down to existing roof/to be partially sided for new 50 ft portion. New foundations/associated demo. required to support metal building frames & low bay crane runway steel. Existing underground utilities including storm drainage, sewer, firewater to be reworked. New sewer lift station to be installed to accommodate the new structure. Electrical upgrades required to provide lights for the new high bay area/provide power for the new bridge cranes. 



Bidding documents may be purchased from the Office of the City Engineer, 222 West Main St, 5th Floor, Pensacola Florida for $50.00 (non-refundable). Check or money order ONLY. Payable to City of Pensacola. 



Specifications and contract documents (Project Manual) are open to public inspection in the Pensacola Public Library located at 239 N. Spring Street. Documents may also be viewed at Office of the City Engineer. Registered plan holders who attend the pre-bid conference will be notified of bid or project addenda. Addenda will be made available on the City’s website at http://www.cityofpensacola.com/bids.
