The City of Pensacola is requesting sealed statements of interest and qualifications through June 27, 2019 at 2:30 P.M., local time, from professional engineering firms experienced in the design and construction, estimating and administration of Municipal Infrastructure Projects for a three (3) year contract term with provisions for two (2) one-year extensions. Statements of qualifications with an original signature and four (4) additional copies plus one (1) electronic copy on flash drive or CD should be submitted to: City of Pensacola, City Hall, Purchasing Office, Sixth (6th) Floor, 222 West Main St, Pensacola, Florida 32502.
The consultant will provide professional engineering services for designs within the existing facilities, including the development of construction plans, specifications, cost estimates, contract documents, and permitting and construction administration, including resident site inspection for all phases of various types of projects. Part of the consultant’s responsibilities will be advising City staff on technical matters and other administrative concerns for all projects. The consultant will also be required to participate in general public meetings and meetings with other governmental/municipal bodies and will provide presentations to the City Council and other governing boards of the City on designated projects, as needed.
