The City of Fort Lauderdale is seeking an Owner’s Representative to perform planning services and manage the design and construction of a new City Hall from inception to completion. The Owner’s Representative will act as the City’s advocate, ensuring that the project is completed on time, within budget, and meets all programmatic and functional goals of the City. The Owner’s Representative will coordinate between all stakeholders, manage project risks, and oversee both the design and construction phases to ensure compliance with regulations, quality standards, and City objectives. The procurement of these services must adhere to Florida Statute §287.055, Consultants Competitive Negotiation Act (CCNA), which governs the procurement of professional services, including planning, site layout, facility planning, feasibility analysis, and design services. Any activities such as cost-benefit analyses, feasibility studies, or future capital project implementations will require the engagement of qualified architects, designers, or construction management professionals in accordance with CCNA.
