Event 407 - Sistrunk Boulevard Mid-Block Crosswalks

The City of Fort Lauderdale, Florida (City) is seeking bids from qualified bidders, hereinafter referred to as the Contractor, to provide services for the City’s Public Works Department, in accordance with the terms, conditions, and specifications contained in this Invitation to Bid (ITB). 

This project entails the construction of approximately Five new crosswalks along Sistrunk Boulevard, extending from NW 18th Avenue and NW 3rd Avenue. It will feature the installation of ADA-compliant ramps and striping for the crosswalks. The goal is to improve the safety and mobility of pedestrians, cyclists, and transit users of all ages and abilities in the neighborhood. The funding for this initiative comes from the Community Redevelopment Agency.
