Summary of Specifications:
The intent of this Request For Proposal (RFP) is to establish a five (5) year contract, renewable annually by mutual agreement of both parties, for exclusive beverage vending services for all District facilities. The School Board of Escambia County is basically seeking qualified beverage suppliers that would be granted long-term beverage school-only exclusivity for full service beverage vending, as specified in this RFP. For this exclusive opportunity, the District is requesting an up-front advertising rights cash payment, sales commissions, athletic scoreboards, and other inducements as required. Any cash payment will support both athletic and school-sponsored programs at the school level.
Beverages shall be defined as: all non-alcoholic beverages excluding milk, other dairy products, frozen beverages, water for water coolers and water from the public water supply. Once the District has approved the initial product line offered by the vendor, the vendor will be allowed to add new products with prior written approval from the District.
