RFP-070903 - Fast Food Partnership Agreement

Summary of Specifications:
The purpose of this bid is to develop a list of approved branded fast food vendors and specific products in various categories to be distributed to secondary cafeteria managers. Within each category, e.g. pizza, chicken sandwiches/wraps, managers may change vendors by notifying vendor four weeks in advance. Products will be evaluated and will be deemed acceptable or unacceptable by means of a taste test. All vendors not previously approved must contact the Purchasing Office at (850) 469-6209 or by email at mvannostrand@escambia.k12.fl.us to arrange for a taste test. Taste test and product approval must be completed prior to bid closing date and time. The School Food Services Department reserves the right to taste test and add new vendors at any time or only during the summer prior to school opening, whichever best serves the needs of the students and cafeteria management. Subsequent additions will be taken to the ECSD School Board for approval before a vendor may be added.
