ITB-064902 - Fire Alarm Inspection & Maintenance

Summary of Specifications:
The purpose of this bid is to establish a three-year agreement for the inspection and service of all fire alarm systems in the School District of Escambia County beginning September 20, 2006. The intent is to assure that the Life Safety/Fire Detection Systems servicing the facility are properly inspected, tested, and maintained on a regular basis complying with latest revision of NFPA 72, NEC 70, NFPA 101, and SREF codes. The proper and reliable operation of the systems and protection of the facility occupants are the primary concern to the School District of Escambia County. Extension of the useful life of the system and the most cost effective total life cycle cost of the system will also be considered. The School District reserves the right to terminate the agreement at the end of each one (1) year period or to renew the agreement for successive one (1) year periods at their option.
