The purpose and intent of this Request for Proposal (“RFP”) is to solicit sealed, written proposals from qualified firms (Responder) to establish an agreement to provide professional development training services for instructional leadership and coaching to include “Learning Walks” with designated school and District level administrators of the Escambia County School District (“the District” or “ECSD”). “Learning Walks” are defined as non-evaluative classroom visits that include feedback to teachers about the curriculum, instruction, and learning practices. Refer to the Scope of Work/Services for program requirements. Services will be provided to fifty-one (51) principals, sixty-eight (68) assistant principals, and twenty-one (21) District Curriculum and Instruction administrators. The objective is to enhance the administrator’s ability to provide instructional leadership to school-based employees that will help to improve student achievement outcomes. All professional development, coaching models, and practices shall be highly effective research-centered practices based on academic standards recognized by the State of Florida. The District reserves the right to modify the number of administrators due to staffing allocations and employment status.
