Summary of Specifications:
It is the intent of the County to enter into a contract with an established collection firm for the purpose of collecting past due ambulance bills. The collection items include, but are not limited to: ambulance transports, critical scene care and on-scene care that have been delinquent more than ninety (90) days. The approximate amount transferred to collections during the 13/14 calendar year was $1,278,635.00 for 3,566 accounts. This amount is to be considered an estimated amount only. It is not to be construed as the minimum or maximum amount that the County is obligated or limited to contract for.
