Summary of Specifications:
This project consists of paving over existing road base to include installing erosion control protection, clearing and grubbing, scarifying, placing base material, reworking base material, installing asphalt surface course on road and aprons, shoulder grading and sodding as shown and noted on the typical section, general notes, and plan sheets and built per specifications. Temporary pavement markings shall be placed with new asphalt. Final thermoplastic markings shall be installed on cured asphalt after county approval. It will be the Vendor/Contractor’s responsibility to provide Maintenance of Traffic (MOT) plan at the pre-construction meeting. Sodding, including watering of the road shoulders and swales is required on all disturbed areas or as directed by COUNTY
