Summary of Specifications:
This project consists of constructing an artificial reef by deploying and installing approximately 500 to 600 tons of clean concrete poles, concrete culverts, concrete inlets, concrete structure boxes and various concrete manhole sections at three (3) sites within the Bendickson Artificial Reef permitted area, Army Corps Permit SAJ-1994-00530 (IP-JED). The artificial reef materials will be placed at designated locations within the boundaries of the permitted areas as described in Exhibit “C”. The County may locate an additional deployment site within the permit area prior to the Notice to Proceed to allow maximum usage of the permitted area. The Vendor/Contractor will supply all materials, labor, and equipment in order to accomplish the Bendickson Reef Expansion Project, as described in the specifications and construction plans showing the proposed improvements in Hernando County, Florida.
