Summary of Specifications:
Hernando County Board of County Commissioners is soliciting General Contractors and/or Certified Underground Utility and Excavation Licensed Contractors active in construction of asphalt paving over existing limerock roads. Contractor will furnish all surveys and construction stakeouts unless otherwise specified. The Contractor will provide horizontal control and bench marks or elevations for vertical control. The Contractor shall furnish, free of charge, all stakes, all templates, and other materials necessary for marking and maintaining points and lines given. The Contractor shall be held responsible for the preservation of all stakes and markers, and if the stakes or markers are destroyed or disturbed, the cost of replacing them shall be charged against, and shall be deducted from the payment for the work. The Contractor shall be responsible for any mistakes that may be caused by their unnecessary loss or disturbance.
