Description

Summary of Specifications:
This project consists of the construction of fiber optic interconnect cables on Elgin Blvd. between the signalized intersection of Sterling Hills Blvd. and Barclay Ave. Work will include: utility locations, underground conduit, pull box, and fiber optic installation underground and traffic signal fiber optic splicing and all related materials, equipment, and labor. It will be the Vendor/Contractor’s responsibility to provide Maintenance of Traffic (MOT) plan at the pre-construction meeting. Sodding, including watering of the road shoulders and swales is required on all disturbed areas or as directed by County.
