Summary of Specifications:
The Vendor/Contractor will supply all materials, labor, and equipment in order to accomplish the Gulf Coast Retreats Water Main, Force Main, Storm Water and Asphalt Paving project, as described in the specifications and construction plans showing the proposed improvements in Hernando County, Florida. Construction will consist of: 1) Installing approximately 14,000 L.F. of 2”, 4”, 6” 8”, and 10” water mains. 2) Installing approximately 6,200 L.F. of 4” force mains under pavement. 3) Installing a manhole into the existing gravity line in the center of Calienta Rd. 4) Providing 31,134 S.Y. of millings 2” in depth. The millings will be used as 12” road base in the open cut areas. An asphalt crack relief layer of 1.5” will be required and a ¾ asphalt overlay SP 9.5. (All left over millings will belong to the Hernando County Utilities Department.) 5) Approximately 315 L.F of storm drain pipes (sizes 12”, 15”, 18”, and 36”) will be replaced with new RCP pipe of the same size and at the same elevation with new inlets. 6) Concrete Seawalls will be constructed from 36” high to 55” high in some areas and as long as 53 L.F. 7) Additional road resurfacing beyond the project footprint shall consist of milling 1” (2,260 S.Y.) of asphalt roadway and repaving with 1” SP-9.5 asphalt on Calienta Street from Flamingo Blvd. to Shoal Line Blvd. 8) Three (3) phases as described in the plan sheet detailing in Exhibit D.
