Summary of Specifications:
Hernando County is seeking Proposals from firms qualified to provide an Automated Vehicle Locator (AVL) System to Hernando County. All County vehicles will have AVL Systems installed on their units. This may be accomplished as a phase in process over a five (5) year period. Hernando County Building Inspectors, Transportation Services Staff, Utilities Staff, and Code Enforcement Officers are in the field seventy-five percent (75%) of the time and it will be prudent to have a web based technology to more closely monitor the activity to improve safety and accountability.
