RFP-17-04 - Employee Benefits Brokerage & Consulting Services

Summary of Specifications:
The Okaloosa County School District is seeking proposals from qualified insurance professionals for Insurance Brokerage/Consulting Services for the employee benefits program offered to its approximately 3,400 employees and 1,800 retirees and their eligible dependents. This arrangement constitutes a change in the manner of compensation for brokerage services related to the District’s employee benefits program as this has previously been administered by the individual carriers through the payment of commissions directly to the broker. The awarded proposer shall be compensated by the District through the payment of a flat fee for service and shall assist the District in renewal negotiations during the 2017 calendar year in preparation for the 2018 plan year.
