RFP-11-P01 - Fire Alarm & Certfication Repairs - Maintenance Dept

Summary of Specifications:
The purpose and intent of this Request for Proposal (RFP) is to establish a 5-year contract for the inspection and service of all fire alarm systems in the School District of Okaloosa County beginning on or about September 14, 2010. The intent of this contract is to assure that the Life Safety/Fire Detection Systems servicing the facilities are properly certified, tested, maintained, and repaired on a regular basis complying with National Fire Protection Assoc. 72 2002, National Electrical Code 70, and State Requirements for Educational Facilities codes. The proper and reliable operation of the fire alarm systems for the protection of the District Facilities and life-safety of the people for whom we are responsible are main objectives of this RFP. Extension of the useful life of the system will also be considered.
