Description

The School Board of Okaloosa County, Florida is seeking proposals from qualified firms for the Seat Management of the Okaloosa County School District’s information technology and associated support services. OCSD would like to contract with a Vendor to provide computing services for its students, teachers and administrators. The term "Seat Management" relates the concept that a user sits at a "Seat'' and expects to receive computing services at an expected level of performance for a price per month. The hardware, software, peripherals, support, and LAN connectivity are all integrated into the "Seat'' price. Hardware "Refresh" will occur on a continuing schedule to provide the user with the expected level of performance.

A MANDATORY PRE-PROPOSAL CONFERENCE is scheduled for June 4, 2024, 9:00 AM CT, in the Okaloosa County School District Central Administration Complex Training Room located at 202A Highway 85 North, Niceville, FL. 32578. This is a mandatory conference and all prospective Vendors are required to attend. It will be followed by an optional site visit of 3-5 school sites of different types selected by the OCSD IT department. Additional Bidding Instructions

Proposals must be submitted in a sealed container, clearly identified as Request for Proposal for Instructional Technology Seat Management Outsourcing, RFP 24-03. Sealed proposals will be received until 2:00 p.m. (CT) on July 23, 2024 in the OCSD’s Purchasing Department, where the official clock for the purpose of receiving proposals is located. All proposals must be date and time stamped by the official clock. Proposals will be opened in the OCSD’s Purchasing Department after the deadline for receiving proposals. Any proposal received after the deadline indicated above will be date and time stamped and will not be opened. It is the Proposer’s responsibility to see that their proposal is properly received at the correct location prior to the deadline. RFPs will be publicly opened. Only names of respondents will be read at this time.
