Summary of Specifications:
The purpose and intent of this Request for Bid (RFB) is to establish a firm fixed price contract with a qualified Contractor for the Office Renovation at Wright Elementary School in Fort Walton Beach, Florida. Contractor shall provide all labor, material, tools, equipment, and supervision required to complete this project. The contractor shall adhere to all requirements and specifications as stated in the plans, specifications, and drawings for this project and in accordance with the Florida Building Code. Project work shall occur between December 18th, 2009 and January 1st, 2010. A mandatory Pre-Bid Conference and site visit will be held at Wright Elementary School located at 305 Lang Road, Fort Walton Beach, FL 32547 on November 16, 2009 at 10:30am CT. Attendance at the pre-bid conference is mandatory in order for all bidders to receive the benefit of answers to theirs and other’s technical questions first hand. It is imperative that all information be disseminated in a public forum with all potential bidders present to minimize confusion and misunderstandings. Additions or changes to the original bid documents resulting from this conference of a material nature will be documented in the form of a written addendum and distributed to all attendees.
