Summary of Specifications:
The School Board of Okaloosa County is accepting quote proposals for Contractor Services to provide all labor, material, equipment and resources required to relocate one (1) Portable Building which is approximately 24’ X 65’. The portable building consists of two (2) portables approximately 24’ x 32’ that are butted end to end. The requirement is to move them as one unit (building). Contractor shall set up the relocated structure to match foundation details like the new existing portables that are currently located on the premises of the new location, as there are several single portables of this type onsite. The portable building to be relocated currently sits directly behind the School Board of Okaloosa County Administration Building at 120 Lowery Place, S.E. Fort Walton Beach, FL 32548 in the fenced in area off to the side of the parking lot and is labeled Building E. Contractor shall be responsible for relocating the portable building from its current location to Walker Elementary School located at 2988 Stillwell Blvd., Crestview, FL 32539 which is also in Okaloosa County, FL. The portable building shall be tied down on new permanent engineered foundation at its new location. Price shall include disconnection of anchoring systems, relocation, and grubbing of new pier locations and installing new pier foundations to include set up and tie down, all to be in compliance with the Florida Building Code. The Contractor is not responsible for any electrical, mechanical, plumbing, skirting, ramps or deteriorated existing wood. The Okaloosa County School District Facilities and Maintenance Department will mark the designated spot for the moved building to be placed, at its new location.
