The School District of Okaloosa County is accepting Quote proposals for services to remove and replace the current liftgate on refrigerated delivery truck. The Contractor will provide all labor, materials, and equipment necessary to remove the current liftgate and install new Theiman VL-30 or equal. The new liftgate shall be a 3000 lb capacity rail lift, 90” wide x 72” deep, plus 12” fixed ramp with 2 piece folding platform, and must have the ability to lower straight down unfolded for dock loading/unloading, shall have power closing and a waterproof power enclosure. If bidding other than specified Bidder shall provide detailed specifications. The Contractor is responsible for repairing, including repainting, any damage done to the door header and/or frame of vehicle during removal and installation. The Contractor must have an authorized warranty dealer located within 120 miles of the OCSD Nutrition Center located at 202B Hwy 85, Niceville, FL 32578. The District is responsible for delivery and pickup of vehicle. Contractors must satisfy themselves as to the exact nature and requirements of specifications for extent and quality of work to be performed. Failure to do so will not relieve the successful Contractor of their obligation to carry out the provisions of the contract. Workmanship shall conform to all the methods and operations of best standards and accepted practices of the trade or trades involved, and shall include all items regularly furnished or required for completion of services. Personnel skilled in their respective trade shall execute all work. Contractor shall adhere to all conditions, requirements and specifications within the quote. Until final inspection and approval by the District is completed, no invoices will be processed.
