NOTICE FOR PROCUREMENT OF PROFESSIONAL SERVICES
In accordance with the provisions of section 1013.45, Florida Statutes and pursuant to the State of Florida's Consultants Competitive Negotiations Act, section 287.055, Florida Statutes, the School Board of Okaloosa County, Florida, (the "School Board") will consider the selection of a Total Construction Program Management (the “TPM”) firm for the providing of professional services for:
A total construction program management project consisting of a multiple-site program of remodeling, renovations, additions, and new projects which will be implemented in separate annual phases over a five-year period.
Business entities interested in providing these services to the School Board of Okaloosa County are hereby notified that a sealed Statement of Qualifications, in the required submittal format, for providing the required services must be received by 2:00 p.m. local time, March 14, 2008, at the Purchasing Department, School Board of Okaloosa County, Bay Area Administration Building, 120 Lowery Place, S.E., Fort Walton Beach, Florida, 32548, Attn: Richard D. Norris, Purchasing Agent. Late responses will not be accepted or considered.
Instructions for completion and submission of the Statement of Qualifications may be obtained free of charge at the School Board of Okaloosa County, Purchasing Department at the foregoing address. Phone: (850) 833-7668.
A mandatory pre-submittal meeting will be held to answer questions and review the requirements of the Request for Qualifications at 2:00 p.m. local time, February 29, 2008 at the Board Meeting Room, School Board of Okaloosa County, Bay Area Administration Offices, 120 Lowery Place, SE, Fort Walton Beach, FL 32548.
The School Board of Okaloosa County reserves the right to reject any one or all Statements of Qualifications, to waive any informality in any such submissions, and to select, and negotiate a contract with, a TPM firm in the best interest of the School District. Additionally, the School Board reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to cancel this Request for Qualifications Solicitation and/or its review of the submissions when it determines that such action is in the best interest of the School District. Statements of Qualifications and services offered therein must be valid for a period of sixty (60) days from the submittal deadline.
