Summary of Specifications:
The work covered by this section includes furnishing all materials required. No substitutions will be accepted unless approved by the Purchasing and Water & Sewer Departments.
1. Bidder will furnish equipment only. The attached specifications are adopted standard specifications and use the phrase “contractor” or “developer”. On this project, OCWS will serve as the contractor and developer. OCWS will construct the lift station. Bidder will attend start-up and assist in matters related to the equipment listed below.
2. Lift station package to include the following equipment:
a. Fiberglass wet well (22.5’ deep)
b. Fiberglass valve pit
c. MCC panel (Motor Control Center)
d. Pumps and associated piping for inside the wet well and valve pit
3. See attached construction plans dated and specifications dated February 2010.
4. Pumps specified are - Hydromatic S4TX7500C, 10.75 in. impeller, 75 hp, 1750 RPM, 460V.
a. There are 2 design points:
1. Full flow is 930 GPM @ 146 TDH
2. Partially drained is 1150 GPM @ 138 TDH
b. Wemco, KSB or Essco will also be considered.
5. The lift station will also include SCADA, but SCADA is not included in this bid package, nor is the reactive air system and bell housing in the wet well. The MCC panel shall have SCADA terminations.
6. Geotechnical report is attached for a review of existing soil conditions.
